Abstract

In ethics and morality, we often hear of such words like moral, immoral and amoral just as we hear of words like ethical action, good, bad, moral agent, choice, value, human action, acts of man etc. It may also be worthwhile to establish some subtle distinction between some of these commonly used words, like moral, amoral and immoral. The term moral can be used in two ways.
This equivocation gives it the following contrasts: moral vs amoral and moral vs immoral. In the first usage, moral means when a being or an action is liable or subject to a moral law or responsibility
