PHYSICAL DISTRIBUTION STRATEGIES AND BIOFUEL AVAILABILITY IN THE AVIATION SECTOR IN RIVERS STATE

Abstract

Distribution strategies play vital role in marketing practice by successfully closing transactions upon product delivery since products are expected to be safely and promptly delivered at the end of every transaction. Quality distribution strategies therefore influence product availability. However, most firms pay less attention to the quality of distribution strategies which consequently affect product availability with direct bearing on operational efficiency. This research investigates the relationship between Physical Distribution Strategies (PDS) and its dimensions [Active Logistic Management (ALM), Ordering Processing Flexibility (OPF), Efficient Traffic Management (ETM), Product Handling Management (PHM)] and Biofuel Availability in the aviation sector in Rivers State.
