This article explores the intricate relationship between globalization and cultural differences in the Niger Delta, examining how external influences are reshaping local customs, traditions, and societal norms. It discusses the challenges of maintaining cultural identity amidst these global forces and proposes strategies for balancing the benefits of globalization with the need to preserve cultural heritage. This paper concludes that, the key to navigating this dual reality lies in embracing globalization's benefits while actively working to sustain the cultural heritage that defines the Niger Delta's unique identity. It provides recommendations such as: Strengthen Cultural Education and Awareness Programs, Promote Language Preservation Initiatives, Leverage Technology for Cultural Preservation, Foster Globalization to Balance Tradition with Modernity, Encourage Policy Support for Cultural Protection.
